IR CAL reference materials are human based protein materials that are used to calibrate analyzers which utilize Synermed reagent methods for the quantitative determination of the listed serum constituents.
When stored at 2° to 8°C, this product is stable until the expiration date printed on the product label. Once the vials are opened and the product is reconstituted, the calibrator is stable for 7 days when refrigerated (2°-8°C) and protected from light.
The values are assigned to the calibrator by calibrating with primary standards or standard reference serum purchased from National Institutes of Standards and Technology and using Synermed reagents.
Affirm control materials are human based protein materials that are used as quality assurance materials for automated analyzers which utilize Synermed reagent methods for the quantitative determination of the listed serum constituents.
When stored at 2° to 8°C, this product is stable until the expiration date printed on the product label. Once the vials are opened and the product is reconstituted, the calibrator is stable for 7 days when refrigerated (2°-8°C) and protected from light.
The values are assigned to the control by calibrating with Synermed IRCal calibrators and using Synermed reagen
